My name is Khang Nguyen but you can also call me Vito. I am currently a Software Development student at Seneca College (in Toronto, Canada).

This blog will be recording my discovery into Open Source Software Development, a topic in which I am a beginner.

I have been imagining that I am going to have a good blog post for the following satisfactory and unforeseen story. Initial Failure Since last week, I have been very tempted to level-up my game with the contributions I have been making to open source. My Lightweight Noteboard 1.0

This week, I have been making a small open source project which I call"My Lightweight Noteboard". Reference to the app: Source Code | Github-hosted Page What can the app do? "My Lightweight Noteboard" is a fairly simple web application allowing you to put sticky notes overlayed on its website. The reason  I call it "lightweight" is that the notes are locally stored in a virtual file system in the browser. This is achieved through the use of the Filer.js library. The app's user interface with 3 notes added The app was created by plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS with the help of jQuery UI and Bootstrap 4 libraries. Release 0.4b: #gatsbyjs - Keep the fire burning!

I used to think that my Vietnamese language capability would never serve me in the field of Software Development. To be fair, at least not while I am studying at an English-speaking country and not when most programming documentations are done in English (even programming languages' keywords are in English).
